Marc, Davey, and Miriam have been an MMF throuple for four years, at the end of a terrible year of living apart. With their dream home only weeks away from completion, they are careening toward a version of their life that no longer seems to fit.

They’ve been through a lot together, but sometimes silence sounds the same as "no", and soon that silence becomes everyone's problem.

Davey is grappling with pining over his boyfriend's girlfriend while he’s forced to question his own dealbreakers and the compromises he’s been making to keep the peace. Marc, pummeled by sheer exhaustion, knows he cannot have a meltdown and is acutely aware of what it would mean. Miriam’s past flailings continue to haunt her. She thought she’d learnt her lesson about not shifting the ground under other people's feet, but she can't help it.

They have weeks to fix their foundation. Can they figure out how to make it through, or will they watch their carefully constructed future crumble before the paint is even dry?
